AUTHORIZE DISTRIBUTION OF
TAX INCREMENTAL DISTRICT #1 FUNDS
0 WHEREAS, in 1979, the City created Tax Incremental District #1,
and
WHEREAS, in 1991, the Common Council dissolved Tax Incremental
District #1, and
WHEREAS, the accountants for the City have determined that there
is a surplus of $703,562.46 available as a partial distribution
to the taxing entities affected by the Tax Incremental District,
and
WHEREAS, under this partial distribution, amounts will be
distributed to the taxing entities as follows:
Muskego/Norway School District
Waukesha County
WCTC
City of Muskego
TOTAL
$457,955.11
82,281.23
36,095.52
127,230.60
$703,562.46
and,
WHEREAS, the final audit of Tax Incremental District #1 has not
been completed, therefore, a further distribution is anticipated
at a later date, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended approval of said
partial distribution.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby authorize and direct the City Treasurer
to submit to the taxing entities the partial distribution as
described.
