HONORING MUSKEGO'S AFS STUDENT

WHEREAS, for many years local citizens have given
American Field Service Program (AFS) in Muskego, and
generously of their time and efforts to maintain the
WHEREAS, it is the aim of the AFS Program to promote
understanding, friendship, and knowledge between the
people of the world by arranging an interchange of
students between the United States and other countries,
and
WHEREAS, this year Muskego is privileged to have as
DENMARK, and
their AFS student LILJA SNORRADOTTIR, from ESBJERG,
WHEREAS, LILJA SNORRADOTTIR exemplifies the purpose of
the AFS program in Muskego.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council
of the City of Muskego does hereby honor LILJA
SNORRADOTTIR as Muskego's 1991 - 1992 AFS student and
extends to her an invitation to return to our City again.
