RESOLUTION #217-91
BASEBALL FIELD IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
AWARD OF BID
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for the Baseball Field
bids were received:
Improvement Program at Bay Lane Middle School, and the following
CONTRACTOR TOTAL BID
Lakes Area Excavating $16,499.00 Western Landscape Contractors, Inc. 23,900.00
Natural Athletic Turf, Inc. 14,825.00
WHEREAS, the Muskego Athletic Association at its May 15, 1991
meeting and the City of Muskego in Resolution #164-91, each
approved up to $7,500.00 for the improvements, and
WHEREAS, the Parks Director and the Finance Committee have
recommended approval of the low bid from Natural Athletic Turf,
Inc. in the amount of $14,825.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Parks Director
and the Finance Committee, does hereby approve the low bid from
Natural Athletic Turf, Inc. in the amount of $14,825.00 for the
Baseball Field Improvement Program at Bay Lane Middle School.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City's share of $7,412.50 be
funded from the miscellaneous category included in the 1991
Parks Dedication budget.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Parks Director is hereby
authorized to sign the necessary documents in the name of the
City.
