RESOLUTION #77-91
SCHULTZ LANE ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT
AWARDING OF BID
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for the Schultz Lane Road
Reconstruction Project, and the following bids were received:
L & W Construction Company $115,860.00 Payne & Dolan 112,455.52 Western Landscape Contractors 96,685.00
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee has recommended approval of the low
bid from Western Landscape Contractors in the amount of $96,685.00 plus
pavement for the westerly extension of Schultz Lane for a total of
$4,158.00 for the Urban Section Alternative and $4,562.50 for the overlay
$105,405.50, and
WHEREAS, an Alternate Bid Item included the overlay pavement for the
driveway to the Hunter's Nest of $3,802.50 and the Hunter's Nest parking
lot of $12,015.00, and
WHEREAS, the owner of Hunter's Nest has decided not to proceed with the
parking lot, and has placed $3,802.50 in escrow with the City for the
overlay pavement for the driveway.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the City Engineers and the Public
Contractors in the amount of $105,405.50, which includes the Urban
of Schultz Lane.
Section Alternative and the overlay pavement for the westerly extension
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the approval of this award of bid shall not
be final until Resolution #76-91 has been signed by all property owners
involved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized to
authorized to sign any change orders at their discretion upon
sign the necessary documents in the name of the City, and are further
recommendation of the City Engineers.
