APPROVAL OF BORROWING FOR LITTLE MUSKEG0 LAKE
PROTECTION h REHABILITATION DISTRICT
(Weed Harvesting Equipment)
WHEREAS, the Little Muskego Lake Protection h Rehabilitation
District has requested that the City borrow $85,000.00 on its
behalf for the purpose of purchasing new weed harvesting
equipment, and
WHEREAS, the loan will be repaid in ten equal principal
installments over a ten year period with the interest rate to
be determined by reviewing all costs associated with the
borrowing, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended concept approval
of the borrowing in the amount of $85,000.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Muskego, upon
the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does hereby
approve the concept of borrowing of $85,000.00 for the Little
Muskego Lake Protection h Rehabilitation District and hereby
directs the City Attorney to prepare the appropriate agreement
between the City of Muskego and the Little Muskego Lake
Protection h Rehabilitation District, and obtain evidence of
appropriate Lake District approval.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized
to sign the necessary documents in the name of the City, if
said final documents are acceptable to the Mayor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this approval is contingent upon
the Wisconsin Trust Fund not being a feasible funding source.
