ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTE FOR NEW SQUAD CARS
WHEREAS, quotes have been obtained as follows for two new 1990
Chevrolet Caprice squad cars:

WHEREAS, the Waukesha County Chiefs' Consortium has awarded the
quote to Ewald Automotive based on the low bid, and
WHEREAS, in order to ensure the delivery of these vehicles in the
Spring of 1990, the order must be placed by January 1, 1990, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the quote
submitted by Ewald Automotive for a net cost of $16,022 for two
1990 Chevrolet Caprice squad cars be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby accept the quote of Ewald Automotive for
two 1990 squad cars at a net pice of $16,022 in order to obtain
the price break offered to the consortium.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police is hereby
authorized to execute the necessary legal documents in the name
of the City.
