APPROVAL OF PARTICIPATION IN CONSOLIDATED
DISPATCH STUDY
WHEKEAS, Resolution #208-89, adopted August 8, 1989, indicated
Muskego's willingness to participate in a study to determine the
feasibility of a consolidated dispatch facility, and
Muskego, the Villages of Elm Grove and Menomonee Falls, and
WHEREAS, the Cities of Brookfield, Oconomowoc, New Berlin, and
Waukesha County have formed the consolidated communications
center study committee, and
WHEREAS, the Steering Committee is recommending that the
consulting firm of Spectrum Resources, Inc. be hired to do the
study at a cost of $44,962.00 with an additional $1,238.00 set
aside for unexpected expenses, with Muskego's share of the study
to be $6,600.00, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee is recommending approval of
participation in the Consolidated Dispatch Study at a cost of
$6,600.00, with funds to be taken from the Contingency Account.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby approve of the City's participation in the Consolidated Dispatch Study at a cost of $6,600.00, with funds to
be taken from the Contingency Account.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Police Chief John Johnson is
authorized to sign the necessary documents in the name of the
City.
