RESOLUTION AS TO ASSEMBLY BILL a474
WHEREAS, Assembly Bill F474 on Municipal Boat Launching Fees
prohibits a county, city, village or town from charging a fee for
the use of a boat launching facility owned or operated by the
municipality, and
WHEREAS, Assembly Bill #474, by prohibiting fees, would force
municipalities to absorb maintenance costs within their already
restricted budgets, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the Common
Council express its opposition to Assembly Bill #474.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby express its opposition to Assembly
Bill /I474 and does hereby direct the Clerk to forward a copy of
Urban and Local Affairs.
