RESOLUTION a251 -89
AUTHORIZING AMENDMENT TO "CAFETERIA PLAN"
WHEREAS, the Common Council in Resolution 1/57-89 adopted a
"Premium Only" Cafeteria Plan designed to provide employees a
means of paying their share of medical and dental coverage
premiums with pre-tax dollars, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that said plan be
and recommends an additional phase of the Cafeteria Plan be
amended to further allow an income disability plan to be included
created to allow for dependent care payments on a pre-tax basis.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby amend the "Premium Only" Cafeteria Plan to
include allowing income disability coverage premiums to be paid
with pre-tax dollars and does hereby authorize the Mayor and
Clerk to execute said Plan and related documents necessary for
the implementation of said Plan.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to
execute an addition to the Cafeteria Plan to provide for
dependent care payments on a pre-tax basis.
