ACCEPTANCE OF LOW BID FOR 1989 BITUMINOUS CONCRETE PAVING
ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department advertised for bids for
the 1989 Bituminous Concrete Paving Road Improvement Program and
the following bids have been received:

Bituminous Concrete, Grade 111 Base Course $ 18.75ITon
Bituminous Concrete, Grade #3 Surface Course 19.75jTon

PAVING MIX & CONSTRUCTION CO. INC.
Bituminous Concrete. Grade ill Base Course $ 26.001Ton

WOLF CONSTRUCTION CO., INC.
Bituminous Concrete, Grade //1 Base Course $ 21.30jTon
Bituminous Concrete, Grade #3 Surface Course 22.85jTon
WHEKEAS, the Public Works Committee has recommended that the
low bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc. for the bituminous concrete paving
be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Works
Committee does hereby accept the low bid of Payne & Dolan, Inc.
in the amount of $18.75/Ton for Bituminous Concrete, Grade #1
Base Course, $19.75/Ton for Bituminous Concrete, Grade 113 Surface
Course, and $l.lO/gallon for Tack.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance security of $30,000
may be submitted in the form of a bond.
