ENDORSEMENT OF A DEFIBRILLATION PROGRAM
IN THE CITY OF MUSKEG0
WHEREAS, Section HSS 110.10, Wisconsin Administrative Code, was
recreated to allow licensed ambulance services, with approval of
defibrillation skills in the prehospital setting, and
the Department of Health and Social Services, to train to use
WHEREAS, data collected from a two year pilot project previously
authorized by this rule demonstrated that defibrillation
performed in the prehospital emergency care setting by
specifically trained ambulance attendants can result in an
fibrillation, and
increased survival rate for patients experiencing ventricular
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the
institution of a defibrillation program in the City of Muskego
would be in the best public interest and welfare.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
Committee, does hereby declare its endorsement of a
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
defibrillation program in the City of Muskego. 0
