RESOLUTION 1/47-89
TRANSFER OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS TO
WAUKESHA COUNTY
WHEREAS, on January 1, 1989 Waukesha County officially took over
responsibility for Janesville Road and designated the former
State Hwy. 24 as County Trunk "L", and
WHEREAS, the County has agreed to take over the responsibility
for the traffic signals which were purchased by the City, and
WHEREAS, this action will remove the responsibility of upkeep,
insurance and repair for these traffic signals from the City, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby transfer ownership of the traffic signals
originally purchased by the City in 1986 located at the
interesection of County Trunk "L" and Lannon Drive and County - Trunk "L" and Tess Corners Drive to Waukesha County.
