RESOLUTION 11263-88
ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTE FOR NEW SQUAD CARS
WHEREAS, quotes have been obtained as follows for four new 1989
squad cars:

WHEREAS, the Waukesha County Law Enforcement consortium committee
has awarded the quote to Ewald Chevrolet based on the low bid, and
WHEREAS, in order to ensure the delivery of these vehicles in the
Spring of 1989, the order must be placed by December 23, 1988, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the quote
submitted by Ewald Chevrolet for a net of $35,566 for four 1989
Chevrolet squad cars be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
hereby accept the quote of Ewald Chevrolet for four 1989 squad
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does
offered to the consortium.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon the recommendation of the
Finance Committee, the Police Chief will attempt to sell the 1982
squad car for more than the $500 trade-in allowed above, and if
successful, the $35,566 listed above will be increased by $500.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police is hereby
authorized to execute the necessary legal documents in the name of
the City.
