AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR WISCONSIN FUND ROOT RIVER WATERSHED
(Tess Corners Creek/Woods Road North Drainage Project)
(Tess Corners/Gaulke Drive Drainage Project)
COST-SHARE ASSISTANCE
WHEREAS, Resolution i115-85, as amended, authorized the
application for Wisconsin Fund Root River Watershed Cost-Share
Assistance for the Tess Corners/Gaulke Drive Drainage Project to
obtained to be funded by TID i12, and the Tess Corners Creek/Woods
cover construction costs of $25,200 with the balance of funds not

$21,000 with the balance of funds not obtained to be funded by
WHEREAS, those projects have not yet been started and may no
longer be funded by TID 82 or TID #6, and
WHEREAS, it is now possible to apply for a 100% grant to cover
the engineering costs for these projects.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby authorize the Superintendent of
Public Works to execute a Wisconsin Nonpoint Source Water
Pollution Abatement Program Grant application to cover 100% of
the engineering costs for the Tess Corners/Gaulke Drive Drainage
Project and the Tess Corners Creek/Voods Road North Drainage
Project in the amount of $13,310.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the portion of the streambank erosion
projects originally approved to be paid with TID i12 and TID i16
Capital account.
