RESOLUTION #170-88
OF MUSKEGO AND WISCONSIN ELECTRIC POWER COMPANY
APPROVAL OF AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY
(Recreational Trail)
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the City of Muskego to enter into an
agreement to begin development of a Recreational Trail system
and
throughout the City of Muskego utilizing the WEPCO right-of-way,
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Board has recommended entering
into the agreement for only the portion of WEPCO right-of-way
from Racine Avenue east to Bluhm Park, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed the proposed
Recreation Board and recommend monies be authorized for this
Recreational Trail system with members of the Parks and
project, subject to WEPCO approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute
an agreement between the City of Muskego and WEPCO for approval
of development of the WEPCO right-of-way, from Racine Avenue east
to Bluhm Park, and the phasing in of all maintenance and @ insurance requirements to correspond to that portion of the trail
developed and open to the public, in the City of Muskego, as a
Recreational Trail.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said agreement is subject to the
approval of the City Attorney.
