BETWEEN LOCAL 2414, AFSCME (TELECOMMUNICATORS UNIT)
AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF THE 1988 LABOR AGREEMENT
AND THE CITY OF MUSKEG0
WHEREAS, the negotiators for the City and the Telecommunicators
Unit of Local 2414, AFSCME have proposed the attached settlement
agreement, and
WHEREAS, the members of the Local have ratified the agreement,
and
WHEREAS, the negotiators for the City have made no
recommendations, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended L\Ppk'01/ "
Disapproval).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby authorize the Mayor and Clerk to
Telecommunicators Unit of Local 2414, AFSCME, and the City of
execute the settlement agreement as attached between the
Muskego for the period of January 1, 1988 through December 31,
to be June 1, 1988.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby
authorized to sign the amended labor agreement for 1988.

SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT
This Agreement is made and entered into this day
of , 1988, by and betsreen the City of
Muskego and the Muskego Area Public Employees Local 2414,
affiliated with District Council No. 40 of the American
Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO
(Police Telecommunicator Unit).
In settlement of the contract negottations for a successor
agreement to the Agreement which expired on December 31, 1987,
the parties have reached a tentative agreement to amend the prior
contract

as follows:
Duration.
January 1, 1988, ex2iring December 31, 1988.
One (1) year contract effective
Wages.
A. Effective January 1, 1988, a general wage
increase of 3.5 percent on all rates and
classifications.

B. Effective Decernber 31, 1988. a general wage
and classifications, except for the ClaSSlflCation
increase of one percent (1%) on all rates
of Staff Secretary.
C. The classification of Staff Secretary will
be upgraded to the following (1987 wage
scale) prior to the implementation of the
January 1, 1988 salary increase: Start -
$7.76; after six months - $8.72; after 18
'months - $9.33.
Article 17.03. Increase life insurance to the

in contribution to 5-64 per hour and to provide
for the City to pay the cost of administration.
Article 20.09. Amezd to delete "and vacations".
Appendix A. Amend to increase uniform allowance
year to One Hundred Thirty Dollars (5130.00) per

year.
10. All other provisions of the prior Agreement to
be retained except as amended herein.
