RESOLUTION 11135-88
APPROVAL OF EXTENSION OF CONTRACT AND
PERMIT FOR LANDFILL SITE
(Waste Management)
WHEREAS, the contract between Waste Management and the City of
Muskego for the operation of the landfill expired on December 31,
1987, and
WHEREAS, on December 22, 1987 an Interim Agreement for the
Extension of the Contract was approved, and
WHEREAS, on January 26, 1988 the Common Council upon the
recommendation of the Public Welfare Committee approved a
contract with Waste Management, and
WHEREAS, further negotiations with Waste Management and the
Public Welfare Committee have resulted in a new agreement as
attached.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego upon the recommendation of the Public Welfare
Committee does hereby authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute
attached document in the name of the City, subject to the
approval of the contract by the City Attorney.
