ESTABLISHING SALARIES AND BENEFITS FOR
ELECTED OFFICIALS FOR 1988
BE IT RESOLVED that the following annual salaries are established
for elected officials effective at the start of the 1988 term:
Mayor $17,900.00
Aldermen 4,500.00
Assessor 35,204.91
Clerk/Comptroller 32,488.63
Treasurer (part-time) 11,434.49
Municipal Judge 8,500 .OO
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council President shall continue
to receive an additional $400.00.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that benefits shall be provided as follows
effective at the start of the 1988 term:
Health Insurance for the Mayor, Assessor and
Clerk/Comptroller on the same basis as other non-represented
employees
Life Insurance in the amount of $21,000 for the Assessor and
Clerk/Comptroller
$1,000 in lieu of pension for the Assessor
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that these salaries are in effect for the
1988-90 term, with salaries for Aldermanic District 2, 4, 6 and 7
to be reviewed during the 1989 budget process.
