CONFIRMING THE SELECTION OF PUBLIC WORKS SUPERINTENDENT
WHEREAS, the Public Works Superintendent has announced his
retirement effective January 1, 1988, and
WHEREAS, the Municipal Code requires that the office of Public
Works Superintendent shall be filled by recommendation of the
Public Works Committee and appointment by the Mayor, subject to
confirmation by the Council, and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Committee and the Mayor have
interviewed a number of candidates for the position, and
WHEREAS, the Public Wor s recommended that the
position be offered to
