ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTE FOR NEW SQUAD CARS
WHEREAS, quotes have been obtained as follows for three new 1988
squad cars:

WHEREAS, the Waukesha County Law Enforcement consortium committee
has awarded the quote to Holz Chevrolet, noting that the trade-in
value for the Chevrolet versus the Plymouth is approximately $1,500
more for the Chevrolet; and, in order to obtain the price break
offered to the consortium it is necessary to accept the same quote,
and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the quote
submitted by Holz Chevrolet for a net of $24,328 for three 1988
Chevrolet squad cars be accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does
hereby accept the quote of Holz Chevrolet for three new 1988 squad
vehicles at a net price of $24,328, because the trade-in value for
the Chevrolet versus the Plymouth is approximately $1,500 more for
the consortium.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police is hereby authorized
to execute the necessary legal documents in the name of the City.
