BELLVIEW/BAY LANE SEWER PROJECT
AWARDING OF BID
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for the Bellview/Bay Lane
Sewer Project, and the following bids were received:
Super Excavators 358,292.50 United Sewer & Water 327,985.00 Mainline Sewer h Water 473,370.00 Rawson Contractors 309,365.00 Michels Pipeline 346,261.75
Madison Underground 286,400.00 D. F. Tomasini Contractors 302,760.00
Tomasini Contractors 312,922.50 Rock Contractors 311,392.50, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineers have recommended approval of the low
bid of Madison Underground in the amount of $286,400.00, plus
$900.00 to rectify a math error in the bid for a total of
$287,300.00, and
WHEREAS, the Public Sewer Committee has recommended approval of
the adjusted low bid from Madison Underground in the amount of
$287,300.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Sewer
Committee and the City Engineers, does hereby accept the adjusted
low bid of Madison Underground in the amount of $287,300.00 for
the Bellview/Bay Lane Sewer Project, with the project starting
date to remain as February 15, 1988.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby
authorized to sign the necessary documents in the name of the
City, and are further authorized to sign any change orders at
their discretion upon recommendation of the City Engineers.
