CONSIDERATION OF FINALIZING VACATION OF MEADOW DRIVE
WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Heikkinen, W170 S7280 Meadow
Drive, requested the City to vacate a portion of Meadow Drive
described as Pt NW 1/4 Sec 10 T5N R20E, 30 ft. W of Lot 14, Blk 4, Meadow Dale Subdivision, and
WHEREAS, the City agreed to go through the process of vacating
said area if Mr. and Mrs. Heikkinen, prior to completion of
said vacation, paid to the City the sum of $1,000 to be used to
extend Meadow Drive to Briargate Lane, which would eliminate
the necessity for the City to be using the part of the street
to be vacated as a turn-around.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Works
Committee, will consider finalizing said vacation upon receipt
of $1,000.00 from Mr. and Mrs. Heikkinen. 0
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that if the City does not pass
Resolution 11209-87 within 30 days of receipt of payment, this
resolution will be null and void and the money returned to Mr.
and Mrs. Heikkinen.
