AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR PAVING PROJECT
LADWIG DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City's contract with Super Excavators for the
Ladwig Drive Sewer Project was amended by Resolution 8181-86 to
delete the surface coat on the road, with the work to be
performed by Payne and Dolan as part of the 1986 Road
Improvement Program, and
WHEREAS, said work was delayed in order to coordinate the
paving with the paving of Aud-Mar Drive by the developer, and
WHEREAS, the base course installed by Super Excavators on
Ladwig Drive is 17 wide, and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Superintendent has recommended that
the road be widened to 19 ft., and
WHEREAS, the developer has contracted with Wolf Construction
quoted a price of $6,755 to the City to remove material along
for the paving of Aud-Mar Drive, and Wolf Construction has
the eastern edge of Ladwig Drive, install a stone base, put a
base course of asphalt over that along a two foot strip the
entire length of the road and put on a 1-1/2" surface coat over a the entire 19 foot road.
NOW. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby accept the quote from Wolf
Construction in the amount of $6.755 to remove material along
the eastern edge of Ladwig Drive, install a stone base, put a
base course of asphalt over that along a two foot strip the
entire length of the road and put on a 1-1/2" surface coat over
the entire 19 foot road, with the work to be completed in 1987.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this project shall encompass that
portion of Ladwig Dr.involved with the Ladwig Dr.Sewer Project.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized
to sign any legal documents in the name of the City.
