HONORING MUSKEGO'S AFS STUDENT - HEGE EIKENES
WHEREAS, for many years local citizens have given
generously of their time and efforts to maintain the
American Field Service Program in Muskego, and
understanding, friendship and knowledge between the people
WHEREAS, it is the aim of the AFS Program to promote
of the world by arranging an interchange of students
between the United States and other countries, and
their AFS student, Hege Eikenes from Sandane, Norway, and
WHEREAS, this year Muskego is privileged to have as
WHEREAS, Hege exemplifies the purpose of the AFS
Program in Muskego.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common
Council of the City of Muskego does hereby honor Hege
Eikenes as Muskego's 1987-88 AFS student and extends to
her an invitation to return to our City some day in the
future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution
shall be sent to His Majesty King Olav V, King of Norway.
