RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WAUKESHA COUNTY
HOUSING AUTHORITY TO PROVIDE SECTION 8
RENTAL ASSISTANCE WITHIN THE CITY OF MUSKEGO
WHEREAS, there exists in the City of Muskego a shortage of rental
units affordable to low-income households; and
WHEREAS, this need can be met through the Federally funded
Section 8 Rental Assistance Program, and
WHEREAS, the Section 8 Program utilizes existing privately owned
rental property; and
WHEREAS, the Waukesha County Housing Authority has requested
Section 8 funding which can help meet the need for Rental
Assistance in the City of Muskego.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Common Council of the City
of Muskego that the Waukesha County Housing Authority is
within the City of Muskego.
