CLARIFICATION OF RESOLUTION APPROVING PLACEMENT
OF PIER AT IDLE ISLE (WaterBugs)
WHEREAS, in Resolution 1/71-87 (As Amended) adopted 4/28/87, the
Common Council approved the placement of a pier at Idle Isle
subject to the pier being located east of the swimming area as
Water Patrolman, and
close to the swimming area as possible as requested by the
WHEREAS, the location approved by the Parks and Recreation
Board was further to the east across from JC Island, which is
the same location as approved in the past, and is where the
WaterBugs have installed the pier this year, and
WHEREAS, the Water Patrolman has requested the Council's
approved location be enforced due to the excessive amount of
slow-no-wake area, and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Board has again reviewed this
matter and has recommended that the existing location of the
pier be approved, and
WHEREAll, the Finance Committee has reviewed the placement of
the pier.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby clarify Resolution W71-87 (As Amended)
to approve the placement of the pier at Idle Isle at the
following location:
as in 1986 and as approved by the Parks and Recreation Board
Located across from JC Island in the same location
