ACCEPTANCE OF LOW BID FOR 1987 BITUMINOUS CONCRETE PAVING
ROAD IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
the 1987 Bituminous Concrete Paving Road Improvement Program and
the following bids have been received:
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department advertised for bids for
PAYNE & DOLAN, INC.
Rituminous Concrete, Grade 111 Base Course $ 19.12/Ton
Bituminous Concrete, Grade #3 Surface Course 20.27/Ton
LANG ENGINEERING CO., INC.
Bituminous Concrete, Grade 111 Base Course $ 20.96ITon
Rituminous Concrete, Grade 113 Surface Course 22.13/Ton
WOLF CONSTRUCTION CO., INC.
Bituminous Concrete, Grade 111 Base Course $ 21.30/Ton
Bituminous Concrete, Grade 113 Surface Course 22.55/Ton
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the low
bid of Payne & Dolan for the bituminous concrete paving be
accepted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee
does hereby accept the low bid of Payne & Dolan in the amount of
$19.12/Ton for Bituminous Concrete, Grade 111 Base Course and
$20.27/Ton for Bituminous Concrete, Grade 113 Surface Course.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the performance security of $30,000
may be submitted in the form of a bond.
