RESOLUTION EXPRESSING INTENT TO REZONE PROPERTY
FROM RSM TO RSM (OPD) TO ALLOW HUD 202 HOUSING
WHEREAS, site control has been obtained by Lutheran Social
Services for HUD 202 housing on approximately 4.5 acres of the
Douglas Eiche property on Lannon Drive currently zoned RSM, and
WHEREAS, RSM zoning limits the number of units in a structure
to 16, and 40 units are being applied for, and
WHEREAS, RSM with an overlay for planned development zoning
could allow the construction of the proposed two-story, 40 unit
complex with a minimum 200,000 sq. ft. parcel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby express its present intent to be
receptive to rezoning an approximately 200,000 sq. ft. portion
of the Douglas Eiche property immediately south of the property
which is an area approximately 160' x 1320', subject to
zoned B-2 from Lannon Drive east to the City-owned property,
compliance with all conditions of the zoning ordinance relating
to such rezoning.
