RESOLUTION AS TO PARK LAND REQUIREMENTS FOR
DANDILION PARK PROPERTY
WHEREAS, Willard Masterson has requested the Common Council to
make a determination on the park land requirements when the
plat for development of the DandiLion Park property is
submitted for approval, and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Board has recommended that
the City pursue acquisition of recreational facilities at the
DandiLion Park property, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed the Comprehensive
Plan and has recommended that that portion of the Comprehensive
Plan calling for acquisition of this property not be
implemented, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the
requirement for acquisition of park land not be required at
time of plat approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby state its intent to not acquire any
portion of the DandiLion Park property for park purposes at the
time of plat approval.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council does hereby request the
Parks and Recreation Board to omit this property for park purposes when the Comprehensive Plan is amended.,
