WATER MAIN CONSTRUCTION PROJECT - MW-4-87
AWARD OF BID
(Lannon Dr.-Janesville Rd. to Woods Rd. and Woods Rd.)
WHEREAS, the City advertised for bids for the Water Main
Construction Project MW-4-87 and the following bids were
received:
Powers Lake Const., Inc. $278,528.80 Underground Pipeline 313,665.00 DeBelak Bros. 355,376.60 Rock Contractors 306,456.30 Reesman's Excavating 333,205.65 Michels Pipeline 392,237.40 Globe Contractors 331,071.00 D. F. Tomasini 325,300.00 Tomasini, Inc. 391,307.00 Madison Underground 254,932.00 American Sewer Services 338,510.00 United Sewer & Water 484,126.00 Super Excavators 336,021.80 Mainline Sewer & Water 293,761.00, and
WHEREAS, Ruekert & Mielke and the Public Water Committee have
reviewed the bids end have recommended acceDtance of the low
bid submitted by Madison Underground in the'amount of
$254,932.00.
0 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Water
Committee, does hereby accept the low bid of Madison
Underground in the amount of $254,932.00.
RE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby
authorized to sign the necessary documents in the name of the
City, and are further authorized to sign any change orders at
their discretion upon recommendation of the City Engineers.
