AUTHORIZATION TO APPLY FOR GRANT FUNDS
SCENIC URBAN WATERWAYS PROGRAM
(Little Muskego Lake Aeration Program)
WHEREAS, the Little Muskego Lake Association and the Little
Muskego Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District are
undertaking a five year restoration program for Little Muskego
Lake, and
WHEREAS, the DNR has granted a permit for an aeration system to
be installed, with the requirement that the system be monitored
for the next five years, and
WHEREAS, the Lake Association and Lake District have requested
Waterways Program to cover the cost of the testing by U. S.
the City to apply for grant funds from the Scenic Urban
Geological Survey, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute
and submit the application to the DNR requesting grant funds as
listed below through the Scenic Urban Waterways Program to be
used for the monitoring of the aeration system installed in
Little Muskego Lake:
