AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS
CLEARWATER TECHNOLOGY
WHEREAS, infiltration in the sewer system adds to the cost of
treating sewage, and
WHEREAS, the Sewer Committee has determined that a pilot project
should be done to determine the cost effectiveness, and
WHEREAS, the costs incurred by sewage being treated by the Town
of Norway is based on gallonage, and
WHEREAS, the Sewer Committee has recommended that Clearwater
Technology be contacted to seal aproximately 50 manholes in the
Lake Denoon collection system, and
WHEREAS, Clearwater Technology has submitted a quote of $65.00 to
seal each manhole.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Sewer
approximately 50 manholes at a cost of $65.00 per manhole.
Committee, does hereby authorize Clearwater Technology to seal
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Clerk are hereby
authorized to expedite the necessary documents.
