CCR1986209RESOLUTION PURSUANT TO §74.135 CANCELLING
PERSONAL PROPERTY TAX
RESOLUTION #209-86
WHEREAS, the Assessor has advised that Ingersoll Cable
Corporation has filed an amended personal property report due
to an error in the original report, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that a clerical error had been
made in the description of the property resulting in a palpable
and
error being made in the assessment, which may now be corrected,
WHEREAS, the error resulted in a reduction in the 1985 taxes
due of $8,236.65, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended cancellation of
a portion of the 1985 personal poperty tax in the amount of
payment to be made in 1986 in four equal installments.
$8,236.65, with 6% interest charged on the balance due with
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, pursuant to §74.135, remits, annuls, or cancels the
following assessment and resultant taxes and corrects the 1985
City of Muskego Personal Property Tax Roll as listed below due
to a clerical error made in the description of the property
which error may be corrected:
resulting in a palpable error being made in the assessment,

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that 6% interest shall be charged on the
balance due with payment to be made in four equal installments
as follows: September 16, 1986; October 16, 1986; November 16,
1986; and December 16, 1986
