AWARDING OF BID - WATER MAIN INSTALLATION
PROJECT MW-2-86
WHEREAS, the following bids were received for the installation of
water mains on Hwy. 24 from Hillendale to Crowbar and on
Hillendale (Project MW-2-86):

Westra Construction-Waupun 286,590.00
Globe Contractors-New Berlin 271,439.00
Mainline Sewer and Water-Wauwatosa 227,576.00
American Sewer Services-Hartford 272,531 .OO
Michels Pipeline Const.-Milwaukee 219,740.70
Rock Contractors-Caledonia 273,455.00
Super Excavators-Menomonee Falls 334,238.50
Tomasini Contractors-Milwaukee 312,163.80
and,
WHEREAS, the City Engineers and the Public Water Committee have
recommended acceptance of the low bid submitted by Michels
Pipeline Construction in the amount of $219,740.70.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Water
Committee, does hereby accept the low bid of Michels Pipeline
Construction in the amount of $219,740.70.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to
sign the necessary legal documents in the name of the City.
