CCR1986167APPROVAL TO AMEND CONTRACT WITH SUPER EXCAVATORS
FOR SURFACING WOODS ROAD
(Ladwig Drive Sewer Project)
WHEREAS, Resolution #207-85 (As Amended) Awarded the Bid for
the Ladwig Drive Sewer Project to Super Excavators which
included 1-1/2" Bituminous overlay for Woods Road and included
approval of an Alternate to install the surface course of
asphalt in 1986, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the
16, 1-1/2" Bituminous overlay (Woods Road only) in the amount
contract with Super Excavators be amended to delete Item No.
of $13,950.00, and the Alternate to install the surface course
in 1986 in the amount of $1,125.00 for the Woods Road portion,
and
WHEREAS, Chapter 1.6.0 of the Standard Specifications for Sewer
under the General Conditions of the contract, indicate that a and Water Construction in Wisconsin, as listed by reference
contractor does not have to accept deductions which exceed 159.
of the total cost of the project as bid, and this deduction is
less than 159., and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee further recommended that the
bidder for the 1986 Road Improvement Program, Payne & Dolan, at
City have said surface course installed by the successful

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby amend the contract with Super Excavators to delete
Item No. 16, 1-1/2" Bituminous overlay (Woods Road only) in the
amount of $13,950.00, and the Alternate to install the surface
course in 1986 in the amount of $1,125.00 for the Woods Road
port ion.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Payne & Dolan are hereby authorized
Ladwig Drive Sewer Project at $22.30 per ton.
