Notice of this meeting was given to the The Mayor opened the meeting by announcing that this was an open public at least 24 hours prior to the meeting by forwarding the complete agenda to the official City newspaper, the Muskego Sun, and to all news media who have requested the same as well as posting. Copies of the complete agenda were available for inspection at the City Clerk's office. Anyone desiring information as to forthcoming meetings should contact the City Clerk's office. RESOLUTION NO. )07-S6 WHEREAS the City of Muskego, Waukesha County, Wisconsin, is presently in need of $2,225,000 for public purposes, including water system improvements and sanitary sewer improvements, and street construction, street sign installation and site improvements in the City's industrial park; and of promissory notes pursuant to Section 67.12(12), Wis. Stats.: and WHEREAS it is desirable to borrow said funds through the issuance WHEREAS it is now found by this Common Council to be in the best interests of the City that said notes be publicly offered for sale: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that: 1. This Common Council hereby authorizes the issuance of $2,225,000 General Obligation Promissory Notes for said purposes in accordance with the official Notice of Sale attached to this resolution and as determined at public sale. mSale attached to this resolution to be published in such newspapers and 2. The City Clerk shall cause copies of the abbreviated Notice of at such times as the City Clerk may determine and cause copies of the complete official Notice of Sale and other pertinent data to be sent to .interested bidders and published as the City Clerk may determine. 3. NOTICE OF SALE $2,225,000 General Obligation Promissory Notes City of Muskego, Wisconsin NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids for the purchase of the City Hall, Muskego, Wisconsin, until 11:30 A.M., Central Time, on June above Notes of the City of Muskego, Wisconsin, will be received at the Common Council at its meetinq to be held later that day. Interest Interest on the Notes will be payable on each June 1 and December must bear interest from date of issue until paid at a single, uniform 1, commencing December 1, 1986. Each rate must be in an integral multiple of 1/8 or 1/20 of 1%, and no rate applicable to any maturity shall be lower than that applicable to any previous maturity. The charge paid upon delivery of the Notes or within five days after deposit with all other costs will be paid by the City.
