AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURE OF CAPITAL BUDGET FUNDS
TESS CORNERS FIRE DEPT. 0 WHEREAS, the approved 1985186 Capital Budget included $80,500
for the repair work on Fire Truck 653, and
WHEREAS, the work proposed to be accomplished for $80,500 to
and
re-chassis the vehicle now has escalated an additional $40,000,
WHEREAS, the Tess Corners Volunteer Fire Department re-
investigated their needs, and has now requested that the amount
of $48,000 be spent on Fire Truck 653 for the following:

Replace the engine with a diesel of equivalent size,
Upgrade the brake system to 1986 standards.
horsepower and torque.
Rebuild the steering as required.
Inspect the transmission.
Replace the springs as needed.
Upgrade the running boards from steel to aluminum.
Replace the tube type radio.
Upgrade the electronic siren to D.O.T. Standards, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed the request and
recommended approval.
0 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance
Committee, does hereby approve the expenditure of 1985186
Capital Budget funds for the Tess Corners Volunteer Fire
Department in the amount of $48,000 for repair work on Truck
653 as listed above.
