SERVICE FEE AND DIRECTING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO DRAFT
APPROVAL OF INCREASE IN BASIC CABLE TV
THE ORDINANCE TO AMEND CHAPTER 12.19 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, a request has been submitted by Ingersoll Cable
Corporation to increase the rate for basic service from $8.00 to
$11.00 per month, and
WHEREAS, the necessary public hearing has been held, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended approval, and
WHEREAS, the Public Welfare Committee has recommended certain
other amendments to the Cable TV Ordinance, Chapter 12.19 of the
Municipal Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee
and the Public Welfare Committee, does hereby approve the request
of Ingersoll Cable Cor oration to increase the rate for basic
service from $8.00 to 5 11.00 per month effective March 1, 1986.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney is directed to
recommendations of the Public Welfare Committee, and to amend
draft the ordinance to amend Chapter 12.19 in accordance with the
12.19(7)(b)l.a. to add the following channels in the basic
service package: VH-1; CBN, Christian Broadcasting Netwark; and,
SPN, Satellite Programming Network; and, to include the provision
Citizens.
