PROPOSALS - ACQUISITION OF LAND
EXPANSION OF INDUSTRIAL PARK
WHEREAS, the owners of certain properties adjacent to the Muskego
Business/Industrial Park have expressed an interest in selling
their lands to the City for an expansion of said Industrial Park,
and
WHEREAS, the City is interested in pursuing further the possible
acquisition of said lands, and
WHEREAS the City believes that the properties it is interested in
are owned by three different persons or groups of persons and the
purchase from one person or group of persons is contingent on all
of the other purchases being made, and
WHEREAS, the City is interested in taking the necessary steps to
proceed towards the possible purchase of said lands at a price
not to exceed $590,000 to be distributed as follows:
Wallner $392,000 Loomis Enterprises 80,000 DeBack 118,000
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby authorize the City Attorney and Mayor
to take all necessary preliminary steps on behalf of the City,
such as obtaining all appropriate legal descriptions, title
reports and surveys, and to take other related steps necessary to
prepare offers to purchase of said properties.
