APPROVAL OF 1985 PUBLIC WORKS CONTRACT
P WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the
settlement of the 1985 labor agreement with the Department of
Fublic Works be approved, and

WHEREAS, the settlement includes the following:
1. 31$ per hour increase in salary.
2. Two pairs of reflector coveralls to be provided by the
City.
3. Change Section 17.06 to read as follows: Employees who
retire prior to age seventy (70) may elect to retain
coverage under the group health insurance plan until
their seventieth (70th) birthdate, provided that such
employee has reached the age of sixty (60) and has ten
(10) years of continuous service as of the date of
retirement. In order to retain such coverage, such
health insurance plan to the City Clerk. employee must pay the monthly premiums for the group
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does
hereby approve of the proposed labor contract with the Department
of Public Works.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said contract shall be in effect
January 1, 1985.
