APPLICATION FOR GRANT FUNDS - SCENIC URBAN WATERWAYS PROGRAM
(Little Muskego LakeIJewel Creek Drainage Project)
WHEREAS, grant funds have become available through the Scenic
Urban Waterways Program for eligible projects up to the
$200,000 budgeted for this program, and
WHEREAS, the Task Force Committee for Little Muskego Lake and
Linnie Lac have requested that the City apply for funds for the
implementation of the Jewel Creek sedimentation Control Plan,
including the Idle Isle Channel.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego does hereby authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute
and submit the application to the DNR requesting grant funds
through the Scenic Urban Waterways Program to be used in the
implementation of the Jewel Creek Sedimentation Control Plan,
including the Idle Isle Channel.
