HONORING MUSKEGO'S AFS STUDENT - PHILIPP WEBER
WHEREAS, for many years local citizens have given generously
of their time and efforts to maintain the American Field Service
Program in Muskego, and
WHEREAS, it is the aim of the AFS Program to promote
understanding, friendship and knowledge between the people of the
world by arranging an interchange of students between the United
States and other countries, and
WHEREAS, this year Muskego is privileged to have as their
AFS student Philipp Weber from the country of Austria, and
WHEREAS, Phillipp exemplifies the purpose of the AFS Program
in Muskego,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the
City of Muskego does hereby honor Philipp Weber as Muskego's
1984-85 AFS student and extends to him an invitation to return to
our city some day in the future.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution shall 0 be sent to Chancellor Fred Sinowatz of Austria.
