AUTHORIZING SETTLEMENT OF LITIGATION BETWEEN
STATE OF WISCONSIN VS. CITY OF MUSKEG0
WHEREAS, there is a case pending between the State of Wisconsin
and the City of Muskego for effluent limitation violations, and
WHEREAS, it would be in the best interests of the City of
Muskego to stipulate to the forfeiture involved, and
WHEREAS, an amount of $14,000 has been negotiated by the City's
Sewer Attorney, and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer and Sewer Attorney recommend
approval of this agreed-upon settlement.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
Attorney and City Engineer, does hereby approve the agreed-upon
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the City's Sewer
settlement in the amount of $14,000, subject to further review
of the drafted stipulation being prepared by the Attorney
General's office.
