CCR1984054RESOLUTION #54-84 (As Amended) APPROVAL OF 1984 LABOR AGREEMENT BETWEEN CITY AND LOCAL 82414 (City Hall/Library) WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the settlement of the 1984 labor agreement between the City and Local #2414 (City HallILibrary Unit) be denied. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, does hereby approve of the proposed 1984 labor agreement between the City and Local 82414 (City Hall/Library Unit) as attached. Amend Section 6.01 to read: "Employees shall be paid bi-weekly on an hourly basis." 2. Amend Section 7.01 to include: "The hours of work for City Hall employees shall be from 8:OO A.M. to 4:30 P.M." 3. Amend Section 11.02 to include step-parents, step-brothers and step-sisters in the definition of immediate family. 4. The position of Receptionist/Typist (currently held by Jan Hughes) shall be reclassified from Level I to Level 11. 5. Change the first sentence of Section 4.01 to state: "The present retirement plan shall be continued during the life of this Agreement. The Employer shall contribute administrative costs of the Plan for each participating fifty-seven cents (57 cents) per hour and pay the employee." 6. Wages: All rates in Appendix "A" shall be increased by four percent (4%), effective January 1, 1984. 7. Amend 15.10 to state that accumulated sick days may be paid to a total of one hundred twenty (1 20) days. 8. Change the time period covered by a paycheck: For each bi- Wednesday for work performed through the previous Friday. weekly pay period, the City shall pay employees on (An employee would no longer be paid in advance of performing work.) The change to the new time period covered by a paycheck would take place during Play, 1984. -1- 9.
