CCR1984040RESOLUTION #40-84 (As Amended) ACCEPTANCE OF BID KURTZE LANE SEWER PROJECT WHEREAS, on January 24, 1984, the Council rejected all bids which had been received for the Kurtze Lane Sewer Project and directed the City Engineers to rebid the project, and WHEREAS, the following bids have been received: Mainline Sewer and Water $340,298.00 Michels Pipeline 367,336.00 Super Excavators 378,625.00 369,065 .OO Globe Contractors Rawson Contractors 394,363.50, and WHEREAS, the Public Sewer Committee, Finance Committee and City Engineers have recommended the low bid of $340,298.00 from Mainline Sewer and Water be accepted with the following provisions: e 1. Since no sub-contractors were listed in their will be allowed to work on this project proposal form, only representatives from Mainline (including the electrical and fencing work at the sewage pumping station site). 2. The restoration work shall be closely supervised. 3. Only the base-bid suppliers for the sewage be accepted. pumping station and the standby generator shall THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Sewer Committee and the Finance Committee does hereby accept the low bid of $340,298.00 from Mainline Sewer and Water with the provisions listed above, with funds from TID #4. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized to execute the necessary documents in the name of the City. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the required contract and insurance certificate must be submitted by Mainline prior to the start of construction. Resolution 840-84 Page Two BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that pursuant to written requests by the recommendations as to whether or not the subcontractor will be contractor to the City Engineer, the City Engineer shall make allowed to do certain work on the project and if they recommend they be allowed to do the work, the subcontractors shall be allowed to do it upon the Mayor‘s approval.
