ACCEPTANCE OF OFFER TO PURCHASE CITY-OWNED
LAND ON HWY. 24
WHEREAS, on July 13, 1982 the Common Council authorized the
sale of the City-Owned parcel #2225.999.001 in the NE 1/4 of
Section 17 on Hwy. 24, and
WHEREAS, the City's request for access to Hwy. 24 is pending,
and
WHEREAS, an informal offer for this has been received from M.
L. and Judith Richardson in the amount of $20,000, and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended acceptance of
this offer subject to obtaining road access.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of
Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee, does
hereby indicate its willingness to consider accepting a written
Owned parcel #2225.999.001 in the NE 1/4 of Section 17 on Hwy.
offer of $20,000 from M. L. and Judith Richardson for the City-
24, contingent on obtaining road access.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city attorney is hereby
offer to purchase said parcel, with the closing date to be
authorized to contact the buyer to prepare the necessary formal
delayed until the question of access to Hwy. 24 has been
resolved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are authorized
of the property in the name of the city if satisfactory to the
to execute the necessary legal documents to consummate the sale
