AUTHORIZING ADJUSTMENT TO CONTRACT
GLENBROOK DRAINAGE PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Glenbrook Drainage Project was bid with two
alternatives (with and without the Vanden Plas property), and
WHEREAS, at the time the contract and specs were prepared it
was unknown that negotiations with Vanden Plas would result in
owner, and the condition that the trees would be cut and remain with the
WHEREAS, the contract was awarded to Reesman's Excavating with
the Alt. "B" bid would be accepted, and
the condition that if the Vanden Plas easement were obtained,
WHEREAS, Reesman's Excavating has requested an adjustment to
their contract to add $1,300 for 20 cords of wood at
$65.00/cord, and
WHEREAS, the Public Works and Finance Committees have
recommended approval of the adjustment.
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Public Works and
Finance Committees, does hereby approve the adjustment of the
Reesman's Excavating Alt. B bid of $78,273.55 by adding
$1,300.00 for a total contract of $79,573.55, with funds from
TID #2.
