ACCEPTANCE OF QUOTES FOR NEW SQUAD CARS
WHEREAS, quotes have been obtained as follows for two new 1984
squad cars:
Holtz Chevrolet ................$ 10,784.00 per unit Emil Ewald Chrysler Plymouth ... 10,709.00 per unit Russ Darrow-Waukesha, Inc...... 10,483.46 per unit Emil Ewald Chevrolet-Buick,Inc. 10,383.00 per unit, and
WHEREAS, the trade-in value for the 1982 Plymouth and 1983
Plymouth by the low bidder, Ewald Chevrolet totals $5,950 and
by the second low bidder, Russ Darrow-Waukesha totals $5,525,
and
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the low bid
submitted by Emil Ewald Chevrolet-Buick for $10,383.00 per unit
be accepted.
~1 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby accept the low bid of Emil Ewald Chevrolet-Buick,
Inc. for two new 1984 Chevrolet squad vehicles as follows: )a $20.766.00 ($10.383 Der unit) ,~ ~ - 5I950.00 Trade-In 1$2,400 1 1982 Plymouth and
$14,816.00 TOTAL
$3,550 - 1983 Plymouth)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Police is hereby
authorized to execute the necessary legal documents in the name
of the City.
