CCR1983317RESOLUTION #317-83 AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF BID (Glenbrook Drainage Project) WHEREAS, bids have been solicted for the watercourse relocation project known as the Glenbrook Drainage Project; and WHEREAS, the following bids have been received: CONTRACTOR ALTERNATE A ALTERNATE B Reesman's Excavating 61 ,292.10 78,273.55 Drum1 Co. 91 ,726.00 114,171 .OO Koch & Bonness 99,216.00 127,811 .OO W. K. Fredricks 99,830 .OO 131 ,310.00 Western Landscape 104,143.50 133,138.50 Linnan Constr. 107,419.00 135,115.00 WHEREAS, the above bids have been reviewed by the City's e consulting engineers, Ruekert & Mielke, and they have recommended that the low bid of Reesman's Excavating of Burlington, WI be awarded the contract for either Alternate A (without the Vanden Plas easement) for a bid price of $61 ,292.10 or Alternate B (with the Vanden Plas easement) for a bid price of $78,273.55; and has recommended acceptance of the low bid with funds from TID #2. WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has reviewed these bids and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the City's consulting engineers and the Finance Committee, does hereby accept the low bid of Reesman's Excavating in the amount of Vanden Plas easement is obtained within 30 days from this $61 ,292.10 for Alternate A, except that in the event that the award, then the low bid of Reesman's Excavating in the amount of $78,273.55 for Alternate B is accepted, subject to agree- ment by Reesman's Excavating, with funds from TID #2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and Clerk are a authorized to execute the necessary docknents in the name of the City.
