MENT OF DELINQUENT AND POSTPONED REAL ESTATE TAXES TO
MUNICIPALITIES BY WAUKESHA COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Waukesha County Board of Supervisors has informed
the various municipalities that by action taken in approving
Resolution No. 54-7/81 they will be phasing out their existing
procedure of purchasing all outstanding postponed and delinquent
taxes from municipalities, beginning in 1982, and
WHEREAS, many of the municipalities and school districts are
of said resolution, and
suffering financial hardship because of the unexpected impact
WHEREAS, the Finance Committee has recommended that the 50%
stage of the County's three year program continue in 1984,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City
of Muskego, upon the recommendation of the Finance Committee,
does hereby respectfully request the Board of Supervisors to
amend Resolution No. 54-7/81, and to continue at the 1983 level.
